Do you know how old the underground pipes of your home are? It might not be something that is on your mind, but it is something that can have a great effect on how your sewer pipes function. There are many things that can go wrong with pipes over time due to many different reasons. Even though the ground under your feet feels fairly stable, there are things moving and shifting that will affect your pipes.

Since the pipes are buried, replacing them can be a lot of work, and the work will most likely mess up your yard. This is why there are several trenchless pipe repair techniques that enable repairs without digging out the pipe. One such is pipelining. Pipelining is accomplished inside of your pipes. After the inside of the pipes has been thoroughly cleaned, a resin mix is applied throughout the pipe and then pushed into place by a hot water bladder that is left in place until the liner hardens. With this method, the inside of your pipes will have a cover without joints or seams which will improve performance in many ways and lessen the risk of leaks.
