How is the water pressure in your shower? Having low pressure can be really frustrating – everything takes a lot longer if all you’re getting from the shower-head is a slow drizzle. So, is there anything that you can do to improve the pressure? There are some things that help, but of course, it all depends on what the problem is.

If your showerhead looks like it has buildup on it, and you are aware that you have hard water in your home, cleaning the showerhead with a mixture of vinegar and water could help. You want to mix about half and half of the two, and then immersing the showerhead in it for about 10-20 minutes. If it improves the situation just a little bit, you could let the hot water run for a while and then repeat the process.

On the other hand, if the problem isn’t just in your shower, but every faucet in your home is running, then it might be worth checking if a valve isn’t open all the way.
